Perhaps because it came between two groundbreaking albums, "Bright Size Life" and the debut recording of his wildly successful Group, "Watercolors" is a somewhat overlooked title in the Pat Metheny canon. Yet this album contains some of the finest work of Lee's Summit, MO's favorite son and serves as a blueprint for much of his sonic palette/5(90).
